Before you start, have ready

Step 1: Open the sign-up link
Tap Open Account at the top of this page to go to Vantage Markets. Check the address begins with https://www.vantagemarkets.com.

Enter your email and a password, select your country, choose Individual, then verify your email. Put our code in the “Referred By” box.

Open Live Account form On the next screen tap Proceed, the top orange button. Do not choose the lower FCA button.
Why this matters
Proceed keeps you on the standard Vantage sign-up this guide follows, with the bonus and MT5 setup. The lower button takes you to a different UK site and breaks the flow.

Upload government photo ID and a proof of address from the last 3–6 months. Use bright, clear photos and make sure the details match your account.
Document guidance Step 5: Opt in to the bonus, then deposit
In Promotions, opt in to the 150% Deposit Bonus before you fund. If the bonus doesn't appear after your deposit, go back and tap Redeem Bonus.

Deposit options Step 6: Connect to MetaTrader 5
Once you're approved, Vantage emails your MT5 login (account number), password and the Live server to use.
- Mobile
- MT5 → Menu → Manage Accounts → + → Login to an Existing Account → search “Vantage Markets” → pick your Live server → enter login and password → Login.
- Desktop
- MT5 → File → Login to Trade Account → pick your Vantage Live server → enter login and password → Login.
- Server
- Use the exact server name from the email, e.g. VantageInternational-Live. A different server gives “invalid account”.

- Invalid account: wrong server. Check the welcome email and pick the matching Live server.
- Wrong password: MT5 passwords are case-sensitive. Reset it in the Vantage client portal if needed.
- No connection: switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or try again later. Maintenance windows can block logins.
Set Your Chart to XAUUSD
Gold is what we trade. Check your chart says XAUUSD before you follow any signal.
- 1Open the Quotes or Market Watch screen inside MT5.
- 2If XAUUSD isn't showing, tap + or Symbols, search XAUUSD, then add it.
- 3Tap XAUUSD and select Chart to open the gold chart.
- 4Check the top of the chart says XAUUSD before following any signal.
Some accounts show gold with a suffix, like XAUUSD. or XAUUSD+. If plain XAUUSD isn't there, pick the gold symbol your account shows.
